Just a short message to all members expressing how proud Sandy and I are to be installed as the Unit President and First Lady for the next year. We are relative newcomers to the club and are excited and slightly overwhelmed with this endeavor.

Our goal for the upcoming year is to basically have fun and enjoy each other’s company. We have provided WBCCI with the agenda of activities for next year and the calendar is quite full. Our feelings are that it requires the participation of our members to make an event memorable and successful. We have over 100 members in our unit and we need to provide those types of different activities that will interest those members who rarely participate in our current type of events. We would greatly appreciate any input from our members on how to improve the attendance of our members who have already joined our club, We hope to see many of you at our annual Christmas party to be held on December 15th at the Elks Club in Des Plaines.
